Every slab contains a different balance of colour, mineral movement and quiet areas. We select material with the final proportion of the object in mind, rather than treating every part of a slab as interchangeable.每一块石板都拥有不同的色彩比例、矿物纹理与留白区域。我们会从最终器物的比例出发选择材料，而不会把石板上的每一处视作可以互换的表面。

Small objects can hold expressive veining. Larger furniture often benefits from a calmer field or a deliberate continuation across edges and drawer fronts.小件器物可以承载更富表现力的纹理；较大的家具则往往需要更平静的底色，或让纹理有意识地延续过边缘与抽屉面。

Natural marks are not printed defects to be corrected away. They are reviewed for structure, then composed so the finished piece keeps the character of the material.天然痕迹不是需要被抹去的印刷缺陷。我们先判断其结构状态，再通过构图让成品保留材料原本的个性。
